Tweetup – A Change of Focus

April 4th, 2008

Alright, the original reason we created this site was to host a little tweetup for the Huntsville based twitter’ers. Now, we seem to have a change of focus for this project. We’re trying to put together a collaborative place that people can post to from a smartphone. The purpose would be to encourage the mobile freedom that twitter helps provide. We believe you can do amazing things with cellphones given the right tools. And so we are calling for your help!

Project Intentions:

  • Not for profit
  • Keep as collaborative as possible
  • Involve as many people as possible
  • Creative Commons
  • Open Source

Accomplish the following goals:

  • Not Limited to Huntsville
  • Allow Any Organization to Call A Tweetup
  • Promote Mobile Collaboration
  • Simple, Easy to use interface
  • Allow the spontaneous to happen

We are looking for:

  • Coders
  • Designers
  • Thought-Leaders
  • Promotters
  • Mascotts!

I would love to hear from anyone who wants to be involved in this project and any ideas you may have. Also feel free to comment below to share any ideas you may have.

I probably wouldn’t be the best coder (although I would kinda like to possibly try my hand at it a little, as a learning experience) but I’d love to work on the structure and content part — what actually fills the pages. So I guess the last three would fit the bill.

Whatever you do, I’d like to meet local HSV Twitter users. So, I hope that keeps happening.

Can’t code a lick, but I’m a heck of a promoter and I love to organize and attend tweet-ups. Got one scheduled in Austin on Monday night w/ @gapingvoid and as many tweeps as we can get together. Let me know how I can help.

I’m thinking since there’s been no progress on this since April, you’ve given up. That’s fine, I’m planning on setting up my own service to do this (and have a great twitter interface), so if you decide you want to give/sell me your domain sometime, let me know (that’s my real e-mail). I don’t know when it will be done, I’m still planning it. If you drop me a line, I’ll reply when I’ve got something.

Okay, there is going to be a wonderful shopping center grand opening in Hidden Valley Lake, CA on Saturday, October 18th, from 1 to 4 p.m. I would like to have a Tweetup there. Just get some Twitterers together as this shopping center in Wi-Fi enabled. Besides that, this is really going to be a fun event – complete with live entertainment, wonderful food, activities, and the giving a away of a large, flat-screen HDTV. Plus, there are two FREE Wi-Fi hot spots in the shopping center.

For more on this event, visit I am open to suggestion as to how to make this a Tweetup.

For most recent information you have to pay
a quick visit web and on the web I found this web site as a most
excellent web site for most recent updates.

Setting up this printer is very simple which occupies
only really less space. The last thing you want is to come off as cluttered
or messy. one is similar to the lowest print setting available through most computers
and the other forces the color ink to combine into black when that cartridge is empty.

For comparison, a hair on your head is about 80 microns.
Anyway, these cleaners work by trapping the allergens and particles, so that clean air can return to the area where it is being used.
They take up much less power and therefore marginal electric charges.

What do you do when you have to give a gift to a person whom
you don’t know much about. Instead, she might appreciate a $5 gift card to the local coffee shop
inside a refillable coffee mug – something she will enjoy on cold winter mornings
driving a bus full of children around town. Get ideas for items to make for children, teens and adults.

How often do I have to clean it, can it be hard to wash, messy, because I know I’ll need to do it, my partner
certainly won’t. After cleansing the inside, detach the removable
parts with the coffee brewer and then rinse all things in soapy water.
Before that, people mostly used a percolator in the home
    or within the office.

I use low voltage flood -lights that come with a timer.
There are many eye-catching creative decoration materials are obtainable within the
store. Some of the bestselling items are generally stockings, Christmas baseballs,
figurines, snow globes perhaps even toys.

It’s remarkable to pay a visit this website and reading the views of all
colleagues concerning this article, while I am also
    eager of getting familiarity.
